When it comes to putting pen, pencil, charcoal, water colour, acrylic or oils to paper there's something for everyone to enjoy in Sara Worsley's exciting art classes.

Sara's art classes for children and adults (don't worry - they are separate classes) are receiving rave reviews from all who attend. From terrified adult beginners to bold as brass six year olds, her home is brought alive almost daily by the sheer enjoyment and realisation of 'Yes, I CAN do it'!

Her background in education is considerable and she is a published author in her field of special needs education as well as a commissioned book illustrator. Linked with her art qualification, she achieved a combined Bachelor of Education honours degree in art and education from Oxford Brookes University, Sara is able to draw on her understanding of how to help people bring out the best from within themselves.

'Many people, including myself, lack confidence from time to time. I believe we all have the ability to be creative and to express ourselves in artistic ways, whether it be via music, drama, sport or art. My approach to teaching art is to help the individual to tap into their inner ability and combine this with technical skills to produce an outcome that the artist will be proud of.'

Before moving to Spain in 2000, Sara exhibited many times in Oxford and Abingdon and has also held exhibitions in Sotogrande. 'I would describe my work as bold and fresh, I Love colour and am not afraid to use it.' Her current adult students are extremely pleased with the classes and feature experienced artists and novices working side by side. The atmosphere is professional, friendly and supportive.

The children's classes are a delight. Practical results to take home are combined with sound theoretical knowledge and appreciation of art, along with a huge dollop of fun and laughter.

Adult art classes are offered on an individual or group basis. Days and times are arranged to suit the majority of the participants. The introductory sessions last seven to ten weeks and subsequent individual tailored classes are designed to meet the wishes and interest of the student.
